摘 要:
Although the ATLAS experiment was not specifically designed for heavy-flavor physics, it has made significant contributions in this area. Benefiting from its large integrated luminosity and excellent tracking and muon identification performance, ATLAS is highly competitive in studies involving final states with muons.
In this talk, I will first briefly introduce the operation of the ATLAS Pixel detector, with an emphasis on maintaining its performance and stability during data taking. I will then present recent searches for all-charm tetraquark states using 140
proton--proton collision data collected by ATLAS detector at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, and discuss their implications for heavy-quark spectroscopy. I will conclude with a brief discussion of NomAD, developed to enhance acceptance for low-mass di-muon resonances at the ATLAS Level-1 trigger.
报告人简介:
Dr. Yue Xu is a postdoctoral researcher at University of Washington. She earned her Ph.D. from the Department of Physics at Tsinghua University in 2022 and subsequently served as a postdoc at the same university for two years, contributing to the ITk project. Currently, she is working at ATLAS for Pixel operations, new resonances searches and ML applications. Additionally, she contributes to the FASER experiment, working on tracker alignment. In ATLAS, she serves as the convener of Spectroscopy and Production sub-group and was the Pixel run coordinator from October 2024 to September 2025.
