摘 要:This talk is structured in two parts. We begin by introducing key concepts in non-Hermitian physics, with a special focus on the non-Hermitian skin effect (NHSE)—a hallmark phenomenon rooted in nonreciprocity that leads to the exponential localization of bulk states at boundaries. After reviewing its dynamical consequences, we present our recent work on nonreciprocity-enriched phases in open quantum systems. Although nonreciprocity and the NHSE are known to drive unconventional dynamics, their influence on steady-state phases has remained elusive. We demonstrate that the interplay between nonreciprocity and boundary conditions fundamentally reshapes the phase landscape, giving rise to novel nonequilibrium states with distinct spatiotemporal order.
报告人简介:汪忠,清华大学高等研究院教授。2005年获得中国科学技术大学学士学位,2011年获得中国科学技术大学博士学位;2009年至2010年期间,在斯坦福大学访学。他于2011年加入清华大学高等研究院,研究方向包括凝聚态物理及相关交叉领域,目前主要研究兴趣包括量子多体物理、非厄米物理、拓扑物理与开放量子系统。
