南京大学物理学院教授。1999年北京大学物理系获得学士学位,2004年中科院物理所获得博士学位。先后在美国宾州州立大学、德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校、杜兰大学和哈佛大学做博士后和研究教授。2012年国家“海外高层次青年人才计划”入选者。多次以主要作者身份在Science, Phys. Rev. Lett.,J. Am. Chem. Soc.等顶级学术期刊撰文。多次在国际会议上做邀请报告,具有广泛的国内外合作关系。每年拟招收两名以上研究生和若干博士后、专职研究人员,欢迎有兴趣的人士加盟。
普通物理
从事实验凝聚态物理中的表面物理和表面化学。主要利用高分辨扫描隧道显微镜和分子束外延,来进行原位的高质量单层薄膜和其它低维材料生长,在单原子尺度上,在实空间和能量空间内表征形貌,电子/自旋基态和激发态,寻找和发现新奇的量子现象。研究对象集中于拓扑材料体系,分子功能材料,能源材料,金属/半导体表界面,氧化物以及其他低维复合材料和新颖的量子体系。
