许昌，南京大学物理学院教授，博士生导师，物理学院副院长。担任中国核物理学会常务理事，中国物理学会物理教学委员会副主任，江苏省物理学会粒子-核-宇宙学专业委员会秘书长，国家优秀青年基金获得者。主要从事原子核量子多体系统和奇异量子现象的理论研究工作，包括超重新元素和新核素性质，核结团和衰变机制，核状态方程和中能重离子反应以及奇异量子现象等。在南京大学获得学士学位和博士(直博)学位后留校任教，先后访问美国德州A&M大学(康莫斯)，日本大阪大学RCNP，德国罗斯托克大学等开展合作科研，担任国家科技奖励计划，科技部重点研发计划，国家自然科学基金，人社部中国博士后基金，欧盟国家自然科学基金等评审专家，担任中国物理学会期刊《Chinese Physics C》编委/Reviewing editor。担任《Chinese Physics Letters》、《Chinese Physics B》、《物理学报》和《物理》青年编委。主持和参与国家自然科学基金和科技部重点研发计划等。欢迎硕士和博士研究生保送或报考：1.理论物理方向；2.粒子物理与核物理方向等。每年招收2-3名硕士/博士研究生。同时欢迎相关方向的专职科研人员和博士后研究人员加入！

承担物理学院专业核心课程《原子核物理》。讲授过的课程还包括《近代物理》和新生研讨课《神秘的核力与核能》。

许昌教授的主要研究领域是原子核量子多体系统和奇异量子现象，研究课题包括核内结团的形成与衰变，极深垒下熔合反应阻碍现象，核短程关联，量子3D准定态理论，奇特束缚态beta衰变，核物理中的量子Zeno效应等。在核物理学术期刊上共发表论文100余篇。
