Dr. Xiang Xiong received his Bachelor's and Doctoral degrees from Nanjing University in 2006 and 2011 respectively. He is now working at the School of Physics, Nanjing University. He was promoted to Professor in 2023, and conducted visiting scholar research at MIT from 2015 to 2016.

His research interests include micro nano photonics, plasmonics and micro/nano fabrication technology. He plans to enroll 2 graduate students every year.
