报告摘要: In this talk, I will address several issues in the Higgs potential: origin of the Higgs Boson mass, metastable or absolutely stable Higgs vacuum, first or second order electroweak phase transition. Several new physics scenarios, such as twin Higgs, vectorlike fermion model, are considered to answer these questions. Future HL-LHC and 100 TeV collider will be able to further explore nature of the Higgs Boson.

报告人简介:Jiang-Hao Yu currently is a research associate in Amherst Center for Fundamental Interaction, Department of Physics, at University of Massachusetts Amherst. He got his Ph. D. on theoretical high energy physics at Michigan State University. Then he joined the Weinberg Theory Group, Department of Physics as a postdoctoral fellow, and a member of the Texas Cosmology Center, at the University of Texas at Austin.  He works on Higgs Boson physics, collider phenomenology, TeV new physics, and particle cosmology including dark matter and baryogenesis.
