报告摘要: The LHC has discovered Higgs boson with mass of 125 GeV. Its couplings to SM fermions and gauge bosons have been determined through global fits, and are already close to the SM predictions within ~10% level. There is one more coupling to be measured experimentally, namely, the Higgs self coupling. This quantity is the most crucial one for us to unveil the Higgs mechanism. In this talk, I will discuss the collider searches for double Higgs productions, including the high-energy electron positron colliders (such as CEPC/ILC), and the hadron colliders of LHC and SppC. I am particularly interested in the phenomenology in the framework of the CP-violating two-Higgs-doublet model. I will show that the size of the Higgs self couplings are related to the size of the CP-violating mixing angle bounded by the precise electron EDM measurements.

报告人简介:陈宁,中国科学技术大学近代物理系特聘副研究员。2006年毕业于中国科学技术大学近代物理系,2011年获得Stony Brook University 博士学位。2011-2014 年在清华大学高能中心做博士后。2014至今在中国科学技术大学近代物理系工作。目前研究兴趣为:LHC上的Higgs物理, TeV新物理模型在LHC上的模拟和现象学分析,与暗物质模型的关系,以及未来加速器项目 CEPC/SppC 上相关物理。
