Wei Chen is a professor of theoretical physics at Nanjing University. He received his Bachelor's degree in physics from Southeast University in 2009. Subsequently, he joined the group of Prof. D. Y. Xing at Nanjing University, where he received his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics in 2014. From 2017 to 2019, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Theoretical Physics at ETH Zurich. Wei Chen was appointed as a professor at the School of Physics at Nanjing University in 2020.
Wei Chen’s research field is theoretical condensed matter physics, and his recent research interest includes quantum transport and phase transition in topological matter and non-Hermitian systems. His research focuses on the novel physical properties of new electronic systems and their applications in low-consumption electronic devices, spintronics, and topological quantum computation.
